School services at Cambridge House Valencia

At Cambridge House British International School all school meals are prepared daily in our own on-site kitchen by a qualified chef, under the close supervision of a dietician. We are happy to cater for all special dietary requirements, whether they be for medical reasons or on religious grounds and, naturally, a vegetarian option is also available.

We foster a healthy attitude towards food, encouraging our students to enjoy meal times, and develop good table manners and healthy eating habits.

The school offers a complete school transport service to all those students who request it. The service is organized by an external company with a fleet of buses optimized for each one of our current routes. The routes are carefully designed to offer the best possible service to our families, with 14 routes covering Valencia and the surrounding area. 

The school reserves the right to modify the bus times, location of the bus stops and the trajectory of our routes depending on the necessities of the school.

At Cambridge House British International School we have an all-day nursing service run by a qualified nurse. Her duties include supervising the menus of those pupils who require a specific diet, attending to injuries resulting from small accidents that occur at school and, in general, trying to resolve health-related situations that arise.

In addition, the school has a private medical service in the Alboraya Medical Centre, which, if the situation requires it, will provide assistance to the pupil in the school itself, thus avoiding the unnecessary stress of having to travel to a hospital for treatment. In the event that the student needs to be taken to hospital, parents must collect the student from the school and make the transfer themselves. 

All our students are required to wear a compulsory uniform from Nursery to Year 11, i.e. during the compulsory school stages. Our pupils will be required to wear the appropriate uniform for each stage, which is specified in the appropriate Parents' Handbook. The new school uniform can be purchased from the school uniform shop, although the previous uniform can be purchased from any El Corte Inglés shop during the coexistence period until the 2024-2025 school year.

At Cambridge House British International School we want to help our families to reconcile work and family life. That is why we offer an extension service, both morning and afternoon, for students from Nursery to Year 6.
