A Fantastic Day of Sport: Athletics Day 2026

A few days ago, we celebrated our annual Athletics Day at the Burjassot track, with perfect conditions for an excellent day of sport. In addition to track events, your students competed in long jump, triple jump, high jump, shot put, discus and javelin — disciplines they had previously prepared for in their Physical Education lessons.

Our students rose to the occasion throughout the day, standing out not only for their performance but also for their excellent behaviour, commitment and effort. It was, without a doubt, a very special day in our school’s sporting calendar.

Congratulations to the winning House, Serrans!

Following the success of the day, the winners of each event went on to compete in the Valencia International Schools Athletics Meet, where we achieved excellent results both on track and in the field. In particular, we secured victory in the Year 7 and Year 8 boys’ categories, as well as winning the overall classification.

Congratulations to all the students who took part! As always, what mattered most was how you represented your school, and in this respect, you were once again outstanding.

In addition, that same weekend, our Year 10 student, Guillermo, was crowned Spanish Champion in the 100m hurdles at the Spanish Athletics Championships held in Ourense, representing the Valencian Community.
